Summers end?

Really another quite bizarre year for weather. A very cold winter with constant high pressure through June and July and downhill from there, still there have been some very nice carp caught. The plum zing has been very consistent this year and the UPX has done well for the people using it. The A Plex has done well for the few that are using it and I might still make a few changes to this bait next year. The purple monster project has hit a few stumbling blocks but has still done very well in places. The monster pursuit base mix is not ideal for the colder months although I have done well on it in the past. I expect this to come into its own big time in the spring as it draws naturals to the bait like a magnet, I will pit it into hibernation now for the colder montha and revert to the white amber. This will be my own favourite version of the bait with caramelised plum and peach oil. The A Plex nut will now be replaced with the winter "A". This bait is an orange birdfood containing; pH liquid additive, Kemp dairy cream flavour, ginger essential oil, Taurine, Dried Guiness powder, maltodextrin, Glycine, Betaine, Tyrosine, L glutamine, lactose, Tryptophan plus other aminos, sugars and a brand new plant sterol that I have been very fortunate to get. It might look like an ordinary orange ball but this is a far from average carp bait and is designed to provide a very high mineral and sugar content to the fish in a digestible form. I expect to have the white amber plum by the end of the week, 22nd sept, and the winter "A" within 2 weeks.
If you have not seen the website lately http://www.booksoncarp.co.uk/ I am doing a couple of trips to Slovakia and Romania next year and anybody who would like to come on these are more than welcome as there is plenty of room. Also have a look at the cost price clearance, there are a few deals left mainly in the bigger sizes at cost price or better.
Tight lines
Jay
